Vegetable Barley Soup
adapted from Beaker's Vegetable Barley Soup
1 cup uncooked pearl barley
2 large carrots
2 stalks celery
1 can diced tomatoes with juice
1 can garbanzo beans, drained
1 onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Pour all ingredients into a large pot. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 90 minutes. It will be quite thick.
